§        Be courteous at all times

§        Uphold any  search or salvage agreements

§        Follow the law
o       Never trespass
o       Check federal, state, county and local laws before searching
o       Know the law – that’s your responsibility.

§        Do not deface or vandalize property
o       Never tamper with any equipment or structures on the property

§        Never litter
o       Carry out what you bring in
o       Clean up what ever trash you find

§        Never contaminate wells, creeks or other water sources

§        Fill all holes
o       No matter how isolated the area
o       Never damage vegetation

§        Do not camp or park in restricted areas
o       Do not build fires in restricted areas
o       Leave all gates the way you found them

§        Report any of historically significant items to the proper authorities
o       Promote responsible artifact recovery
o       And the share your information with others
